It’s that time of year again where we pack ourselves up and head to Chicago, one of the best cities in our country (in our opinion), and showcase CloudClean™ technology to the world! Booth 6770. Along the way we meet some brilliant and exciting people, and steal opportunities to enjoy and savor the international fare that spans the entire event center. Any other tradeshow serves the same airport-like food in select “food court” areas, but here it is a delectable feast for the eyes and taste buds! It is a certain highlight of the year.
Although tradeshows are usually all about work, this one it doesn’t have to be at the NRA Show. Although I don’t think too many people would consider eating, sampling, nibbling, cooking tips & tricks and celebrity chefs work, but i guess it could be tiring for some people Chicago offers some of the best sites and places to eat. If you can steal a few hours, maybe even an extra day or two, while you are there we recommend these sites to treat yourself.
Willis Tower SkyDeck
From the tallest building in North America, the SkyDeck offers THE MOST sensational view of the city. It is not just the height that you are seeing the city from, but is how you see it. Step into the a glass box that is cantilevered outside the building so you can see above, below and beyond. It is an experience you will never forget. SkyDeck is even open late for a nighttime view.
Millennium Park: Cloud Gate “Bean”
Looking to enrich yourself with art and architecture? Head to Millennium Park to see one of the most uniquie amphitheaters ever, the Jay Pritzker Pavillion. Check the schedule and you might be able to enjoy a show while you are there. Only a few steps away is Cloud Gate (aka. ‘Bean’). A 110 ton sculpture that makes you are wonder why a bean shape is so fascinating? Go see for yourself and you will be memerized by the size, reflections and how people interact with it.
If you want to escape the city, go to the Shedd Aquarium where you can lose yourself under the sea. The jelliefish are the most beautiful to see. The colors, the shapes and the softness of their flow will help you escape, even if it is just for an hour.
Navy Pier Ferris Wheel
Lose yourself for a few wonderful minutes at the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel. The Navy Pier alone will make you feel like a kid, but a view from the Ferris Wheel will let you see how endless Lake Michigan can seem.
We hope we get a chance to meet you at the show, Booth 6770.
